Certain aspects of the Halloween holiday are certainly meant to scary. However, KetoVie knows that for those following a ketogenic diet, a holiday surrounded by sweets can be downright terrifying. KetoVie wants to help you keep Halloween a treat without the sweets by sharing two great pumpkin projects!
The Purple Pumpkin Project: Brought to you by the Epilepsy Foundation this advocacy campaign encourages individuals to paint pumpkins purple for Epilepsy Awareness. The project encourages everything from snapping photos of your purple pumpkin to hosting parties to raise money and awareness. Learn more about this fun way to spread the word here!
The Teal Pumpkin Project: Inspired by families in East Tennessee struggling with food allergies, the Teal Pumpkin Project encourages individuals to provide non- food treats such as glow sticks or spider rings to Trick-or-Treaters. Participants place a teal painted pumpkin teal outside of their home to show kiddos Trick-or-Treating that they are offering non- food items.
